Wetley Rocks Village Hall was again the venue for the Cellarhead & District Horticultural Show. The standard of entry was extremely high and the amount of effort and TLC gardeners put in to achieve these standards is plain to see.

Biddulph 3G Mast Demo
Feelings run high among residents around St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph. Because of fears about health risks, especially to children, residents supported by Charlotte are campaigning against a possible siting of a 3G phone mast in the neighbourhood.
Biddulph Health MOT
Around 400 popped in to the October Biddulph Health MOT Day Charlotte organised with the NHS North Staffordshire Health Trust. Health professionals were there to give advice and conduct a range of checks including blood pressure and height and weight.
Westwood College Diner
Take three excellent cooks; put them in the new Westwood 6th Form College Diner and you have a superb student café. Charlotte had to be dragged away from the puddings!
Birthday Girl
November celebrations for Mrs Grace Cope’s 90th birthday lasted a week and in addition to parties with family and friends she was the star guest at a dinner at Churnet View Middle school organised by the children and school staff. She’s a lovely lady.
The Tea Junction
Charlotte did the honours at the opening of the Tea Junction. Cyclists, walkers and motorists will find a well earned cuppa and snack at this lovely new café next door to the visitor centre on the Manifold Track at Hulme End.
Borderland Voices Lantern Parade
Great excitement on Haregate when children and parents, carrying beautiful lanterns and accompanied by drummers, paraded around their neighbourhood. A big thank you to Borderland Voices for organising the event.
